Day 415

Family,

Hey Family!!! I am super excited for the chance we have to watch general conference in the next couple of weeks.  i really cant believe that this will be my third general conference during the mission.  we are so lucky to have a living prophet in our day.  just yesterday i was talking with one of our families about how times are always changing.  parents are raising their kids in different ways then they did before.  we have to keep up with technology or we can get lost really easy but not just in technology.  we can also get lost if we don't keep up with the changing values of the world.  our values cannot change we have realize that and not get sucked in to the worlds idea that society is changing and so are the morals.  that is a lie, a huge lie.  one of the only ways that we can keep our values the same in a changing world is by reading the scriptures which are the ancient words of the prophets, and also reading and listening to our modern day prophets.  sometimes we get thinking that the scriptures are super important and that is why god revealed the Book of Mormon to the world and that is true.  but the words of our modern prophet and apostles should have the same importance in our mind if not more.  because they teach the same teachings from the scriptures they just help us apply it to these days and times.  I hope that you all can put a little more focus into what we are going to here the near future and not only that you listen and learn but that you can analyze and apply.  i would like to testify to you all that might be reading this letter.  that you are not alone.  sometimes we feel alone in this great big world and that nobody cares about us.  but i can promise you that if you pray and ask help from your father that is in heaven he will comfort you.  i promise you that god sent his son Jesus Christ to this earth to pay for our sins, he just asks in return that we keep his commandments and he will forgive us of whatever mistake that you might have made.  he has forgiven me of my many imperfections and mistakes.  the greatest principle that he taught us is "to love".  if we love Him we will do what He taught us to do.  if we love Him we will serve Him.  if we love Him we will want to live with Him once again.  if we love Him we will love ourselves. I Love Him.  If you haven't given a hug to somebody that you love today i invite you to do it and tell that person that you love them.  well that's all for this week family so until next next week!!!
