Day 110

alright family hope everything is going good i am doing fabulous peru is cheverísimo and i have never been happier. i know the lord is blessing me for working hard and loving the people. i was hoping to send pictures of a baptism we were going to have this last sat but it was postponed for 2 more weeks. but i do have to tell you about an investigator that we found this week. his name is angel and wow what an experience it was to talk with him! he enthusiastically let us in and said that he was glad to see us and we started talking about how we are children of a loving heavevly father and because he loves us he gave a us families and prophets to helps us with our challenges and problems. after we talked for a bit we asked if he had any questions and he asked about the law of chastity and if you are supposed to get married before living together and then he quoted corintians chapter 6 or 7 i believe and we answered his question and told him we wanted to talk about this mor next time and we gave him a pamphlet. and on the back of every pamphlet it has some information and a picture of the book of mormon. he saw the book of mormon and said "do you have one of these books? a friend of mine gave me one in cusco when we used to play basketball together" we suprisingly said "yes we do, and we would like to talk with you more about it" he had read the introduction and knew that it was a translated record. but wow what an experience i am way excited to teach him and help him understand that heavenly father gave us the book of mormon to help us know that we have prophet today. one last thing is i know there are a lot of members in st george or wherever you are reading this but i also know there is a lot of people that dont know about the BoM and what is really is and why we have it. i would like to ask you just talk with you friends invite them to church you can even use me as a excuse to talk about the church and explain that my job is to share the book of mormon with the people in peru and when they ask what is the book of mormon you better know what to do. haha well out of time gotta go play keeper for the zone! love you all and i love the lord
