hope i answered all the questions below and i am pulling out the dear elders to make sure i get those questions answered cause i dont think i will have time today to write home later cause i got to finish the book of mormon before i leave the CCM! i just got to alma while i was waiting for our laundry to get done this morning! if i did the math right i only have to read 40 pgs a day and i will finish before oct. 3rd! i want to challenge you guys to read the book of mormon all the way through as well especially if you havent yet. you dont need to finish by october 3rd like i am cause i know you all have plenty to do haha the only thing i have to worry about studying and teaching :) and i love it! no other worries in the world! so guess what?! we just had our 3rd apostle speak this tues while we have been in the CCM! Russell m Nelson! i loved his talk, well, i love all the talks but his was special to me because i came out of it with something specifically for me. im not sure if you have seen the new october liahona or ensign but it is a special edition about the book of mormon. i believe this edition is what inspired me to read the book of mormon all the way through before entering the mission field. if you havent seen it you definatly should go over some of the article as a family and the rest on your own. this edition of the ensign is what elder nelson spoke about this tues with all of us. and one thing that he said that sparked something to me was when he read the last paragraph of elder hollands testimony which i believe is the last one. it talks about the lords last promise to gather israel (missionary work). and as i have been reading much in the book of mormon the only other big theme besides following christs example is missiory work. this is the greatest work that we can do while here on this earth. and as i though about this during elder nelsons talk it came to me that this promise by the lord WILL be fullfilled. with my help or without it. but how wonderfull our joy is when we take part in this marvelous work and a wonder. i feel so lucky to be able to take part in this miracle of bringing so many to knowledge of the sacrifice our our savior and how there is a way that we can be happy even if we do make mistakes. and we can return and live with our heavenly father that loves us so much. i know that all of these things are true and i know that you can know if you dont already through the power of the book of mormon and prayer. i cant believe how blessed we all are to have this wonderful gospel in our lives. and i hope you can learn from my mistakes by not taking it for granted. especially the atonement. the atonement is greatest opportunity we have in our lives. seek out that opportunity and use it in our lives DAILY. there are many great blessings for repenting continually and i have seen it as a missionary because jeez i have never had so many rules! everyday i find a new one that i didnt know about and i am constantly seeking forgiveness from our father in heaven. i love you all and am so grateful for your support!
